Our caller this week shares the story of her enmeshed  best friendship inside a tight knit military community in Virginia Beach.  The two families are as close as friends can get. With stakes higher than most, the two women  relied heavily  on each other for strength and patience as their husbands deployed for duty, risking their lives year after year...until during one deployment, the best friend’s husband breaks military protocol and inappropriately fraternizes with a female sailor, which begins a dark tunnel down to a stand off between the military men and the ending of a long and beautiful friendship.
