When your mother dies it harder than a father’s death not because of the bond because a father can have a stronger bond than the mother. Your mother is the life-giver and she is the reason you are here, so when she dies a part of you dies as well. Whether you knew your mother or not, her death is still hurtful. We can assume if you have the worse relationship in the world with your mother it still affects you. A mother’s death changes your life forever
