It doesn’t have to feel scary or overwhelming.
All too often we either put off measuring our impact and putting it into a report because it feels too heavy, cumbersome, time-consuming, and sometimes costly. Or we procrastinate because we don't know where to start.
If you haven't created an impact report or brought together your data yet, don’t worry. You’re not alone, this is normal.
There are very few social entrepreneurs, social enterprises that actually publicly share their impact data in a way that's really helpful and meaningful to their audience, customers or stakeholders. So this is exactly why you should! It's core to why we exist as social enterprises.
I want you to release the expectation that it has to be this really ambitious, detailed, high-level report. You can show the incredible change that you've created in numerous creative ways that are so much simpler than that.
