This is a good one for menstruating folks AND those who have menstruating loved ones (lookin at you dudes) as well as coaches!
We’ll explore:
An overview of the menstrual cycle → main phases & hormones
Potential symptoms or changes to look for
And some ways to adapt your training & nutrition to flow with your natural cycle
This is a super nuanced topic, so you bet we’ll be chatting about it again in the future!
There’s also a caveat - this is a growing field of research - most research is done on men because they are easier to control for… So we’re starting with lots of inconclusive studies or qualitative work while the field grows.
But we hear from so many women that they feel so impacted by their cycle, that we can’t ignore the reality of the impact our cycle can have!
Learning about your own body & cycle can be empowering! And we want to help you get curious about yours to advocate for yourself & understand more about how to support your body & yourself!
