Hope Motivates Action

S10 | E12 Teaching Our Kids Mindfulness with Ronnie Parker

Listen Later

Mindfulness is something that anyone of any age can benefit from. Being able to slow down, assess your situation, and control your reaction will help you to get the outcome you want out of most situations. As adults, this is often a skill we wish we had learned earlier.

How awesome would it be if we had learned how to be mindful when we were young, and experiencing so many emotions for the first time?

That’s why I’m so intrigued by the work that this week's guest does. Ronnie Parker is a mindfulness teacher who helps teach social emotional learning and mindfulness to young kids, and today she’s here to share how her Mindfully Me Camp can help preschoolers learn these important tools. Listen in to learn more about the positive impact that learning these tools and tactics at such a young age can have, and how programs like her are achieving such amazing things.
