Yes yes yes! Jesus didn't die for righteous men or for Christians; He died for the wicked, ungodly, unrighteous sinner. With that reminder, today's devotional article has two underlying messages: 1. Stop beating yourself up over some mistakes you made and get over the feeling that like you've disappointed God as a Christian. You couldn't make you righteous in the first place; that's why Jesus had to come. 2. Your understanding of the doctrine of righteousness (which is of God and not of you) would determine your communication of the message of salvation to sinners.
