One place that it's okay to cry as a Christian is in the place of intercessory prayers. When you need to prevail over the will of another, you have to make a case that overrides their right to choose for themselves the path they must thread; you have to try tears...persuasive tears! The biggest thing about today's devotional article for me is knowing that no one and nothing is a lost cause because I can intercede in prayers and win. New convert or backslider, first-timer or old comer with stunted growth, we can birth Christ in them and program them to submit and live the God-life. How about those being persecuted for their faith? We can pray them into the toughness and inner strength that make them face difficulties and come out, not just unwavering but, even more, deeper in roots. Prayer is indeed a weapon of war.
