Listen Later

Krya is the owner and creator of Resilient Grace, a Black-owned business on a mission to empower Black girls through creative apparel. Using images from Black history on her apparel, Kyra knew that Black history is often passed over or disregarded in the traditional American school system. Wanting to bring more awareness to these important issues, Kyra incorporates Black history into her apparel and chats about the story of Elizabeth Eckford from the Little Rock Nine. This episode is informative, empowering, and showcases the resilient grace of not only Kyra, but Black women alike.
