One of the great characteristics of John's gospel is how He captured the incredible I AM statements that Jesus made.  These statements reveal so much about who Jesus was and what He was about.    Today we look at John 10, "I am the good shepherd."  We'll break down this incredible passage and look at all the incredible aspects it shows us and how you can be encouraged.    

We'll cover why Jesus being a shepherd is important, how it shows us He cares for us and leads us.  We'll also see that there are bad shepherds and hirlings we need to watch out for.    We also learn from this passage, we can hear His voice, He speaks to us.  We also learn that He came to give us life In abundance.  From John 10 we can know He is good, and He desires to lead us and protect us.   I'll also share one personal encounter of Jesus where He showed me His goodness right in my living room.
