How does it feel to be God's very workmanship? This is what Ephesians 2:10 tells us. We reflect the image of God as it says in Genesis 1:27, "Let us make man in our image." We dive in today with some creative ways to interact with scripture. We'll walk through some key verses, giving you time to interact with them.
When God gave us His word, He tells us that it is living and active. So when we read it and meditate on it, it should bring a sense of life into our inner being! I share a personal prophetic image I saw in worship one time while there was an artist painting an image during the worship set. It was an image around God being an artist, creating something beautiful on an empty canvas, bringing it to life with beautiful color and detail. This was a representation around how God sees us as His creative expression!
Colossians 3 informs us of the power of feasting our thoughts on heavenly things and part of how we do that is through being able to connect relationally with Jesus. We are told that we have the same resurrection life as Jesus because of knowing Him in a relational way.
