Marcus is a 'presence coach' for parents of preteens. He helps business professionals who are parents of 10 to 14 year olds effectively show up and connect with their preteen during these key formative years. He believes these are the special years where you can secure a relationship that lasts beyond a lifetime.

He especially finds joy in supporting multicultural families or families who need to communicate across generational and cultural divides. He's served as an educator internationally for over 15 years as a former missionary, high school English teacher and mentor. The places he's called home include South Korea, Spain, Thailand and Saudi Arabia.

He himself grew up in a diverse home, with a mother from the Philippines and father from the Bahamas. This has added to his passion to help global, intercultural families. 

On a lighter note, when he's not deep in conversations with 'present' parents or teens, you can find him writing inspirational poetry, Latin dancing, and getting in the latest workout of the day.
