Long dark winter, cold weather and midsummer is a textbook definition of what a Nordic climate is. But coming from tropical islands, how do we cope up with a very different environment that we used to have? What are the struggles of a very dark winter and a very long sunny day during midsummer? What do we do when there are a lot of ice and snow around? And why are Filipinos happiest during the most unfortunate events like typhoons?
