Major life and identity transformations don’t just happen overnight; there are often key events or catalysts that begin the process of cracking open. My story is no different. 

So although 2017 was a pivotal year of cracking open for me, I want to start our journey by sharing some key moments that created foundational and existential ripples within me, in the 2 years leading up to 2017. 

These ripples really started the process of cracking me open. They would continue to expand and gain momentum in 2017 starting a process of transformation and healing that would change the course of my life.

In this episode I’m sharing:

• The events that occurred in 2015 and 2016 that started this process of cracking open
• The loss of an important family member which led to intense overwhelm, grief and a profound sense of failure & triggered me to evaluate patterns of perfectionism and themes of identity
• THIS experience in my corporate job that allowed some light to start shining in the cracks
• And my then-husband’s stage III cancer diagnosis and wellness journey coupled with the loss of a close friend…and how these events created ripples in my perspectives and beliefs about life
