The co-op's new public relations specialist and school liason, Dana Jenkins, takes hosts Libby Roerig and Micah Ponce to school as she shares several educational iniatives. The co-op's concern for community is on display as Dana discusses how the Bright Ideas teacher grant program works and how the co-op funds it through the Bright Ideas 5K. There is also lots of information about free leadership opportunities like the Washington Youth Tour and Cooperative Youth Summit and how students can apply for $25,000 in scholarships.
