CK is a PhD-MBA student from the National University of Singapore, where his research revolves around the field of DNA data storage, specifically looking at methods that can reduce associated costs. He is also the Chair of iGEM EPIC, an entrepreneurship programme under the non-profit iGEM Foundation, where he serves to catalyzethe formation of startups from the multitude of projects and people that have originated or come from the iGEM Competition. On this episode I talk to him about why he decided to pursue the PhD-MBA joint program, as well as his entrepreneurial journey.
