Andie started MargoMods in early 2023, only a year after receiving their PhD in oceanography. Now, they are a trans D&D writer, hoping to make writing their full-time job.

Their first project, the Sunless Citadel Companion started with a question: “Why the heck are so many humanoids in official D&D 5E modules so flat!?” By May, 2023, they'd completed a huge megadungeon remodel, created a host of new, colorful NPCs, and cooked up a suite of inter-faction conflicts that could keep them excited at their table. Forge of Fury received the same treatment by September of the same year.
