The AAPI COVID-19 project focuses on uncovering the multiple layers of harm — the virus itself and the intensification of racism and xenophobia that Asian, Asian Americans, and Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders have endured in its wake. Vivian and Christina share some of the project’s preliminary findings and also provide historical context for the past year’s rising anti-Asian hate.
