Have you ever had an experience or situation in your life you wish you could go back and erase?  I believe we all probably have made choices we are not proud of and wish we could have a re-do or hit the reset button.  Let me ask you this though, would you be the person you are today if you hadn't walked through season of your life?  

Difficult situations can either make or break us.  God loves to walk through these seasons with us and if we're humble and allow Him to we often find that we can connect with at a much deeper way.  

We close the week by looking at another passage Peter wrote in his second letter in chapter one.  Peter's writing is powerful coming from a much different place of identity and maturity than what we saw in the 4 gospels.  What if Jesus would revealed everything up front to Peter..Do you think Peter would have engaged and followed Jesus?  We are often a people who want to know what lies ahead before we choose to engage however if God would allow us to know things in advance, we'd miss out on a lot of the process of development that deepens our trust in Him and miss His love He pours out to us in these times.
