S1:E25 GOD HEARS AND ANSWERS PRAYER
Have you ever wondered if God hears your prayers? God has especially designed prayer for us to communicate with him. We are invited to pray on every occasion, with all kinds of prayers, requests, praise and thanksgiving. Prayer is powerful, and we need to be confident that God hears and answers our prayers!
Today's Verses:
~ Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."
~James 5:17 "Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years."
~James 1:6-8 "But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double -minded and unstable in all they do."
~ Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
~ Mark 11:24 "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."
~ Hebrews 4:16 "Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."
~ I John 5:14-15 "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him."
