The party encounters the true architect of Dirrah's troubles: Mikhail, a priest of Myrkul and Lance F. Tippet's mentor from his past. Mikhail tries to monologue, but as always, Lance has to interject. The party learns that Myrkul, the God of Death, has ordered Lance's demise.
