The party took in the air, happy to be out of the underground. While Varek investigated the towers, Asterion and Nadal looked down at the city below. The party took a minute to catch their breath, however, they felt the ground slowly began to shake, almost as if it was humming. Shingles fell from the cathedral below, revealing a crackling green light surrounded by dragon heads in the four cardinal directions. The spiderwebs covering the cathedrals grand architecture were slowly melted off as a shadow was cast across the valley.
