Despite finishing the 2006/07 season with the second worst record in the NBA, Danny Ainge and the Boston Celtics once again missed out on any sort of luck in the NBA Draft Lottery, and a chance at selecting Kevin Durant.
Ainge turned a lower pick and several up and coming young players into two perennial All-Stars. The Celtics President of Basketball Operations was also able to hang on to a key piece that would pay tremendous dividends towards raising a banner.
