Speaking fast and speaking intelligently it’s firstly about having something good to say (the content), second, accessing that content quickly in your brain, and thirdly express it using great public speaking and storytelling techniques such as two important verbal fluency exercises we will practise with a live audience in these weekly #Podcast series.

1) The Semantic Verbal Fluency (SVF) - this test entails the generation of words from a given category within a pre-set time of 60 seconds. A verbal fluency test that measures spontaneous production of words belonging to the same category.

2) Phonemic Verbal Fluency (PVF) - this is a verbal fluency test that measures spontaneous production of words, beginning with some designated letter within a pre-set time of 60 seconds.
