Today Dean learned that he is the subject of a criminal investigation by WA police. He learned that startling fact while listening to the radio, isolated in his hotel room. He had no contact from any authorities from when he was left there around 10.30pm last night. He was alone when he heard the news. This is the latest on his battle to be allowed into Western Australia. UPDATE: 5am Friday, police arrived at Dean's hotel room, told him to pack his bag, took his phone off him for a period of time, and escorted him to the airport under cover of darkness. No charges were laid. He has been flown back to South Australia, which, incidentally does not have any COVID community transmission.
