Rejection wounds us, sometimes deeply for a long time, but God offers freedom from rejection, how do we claim it? On this episode we search the Bible for answers and explore practical ways we can receive freedom from rejection.

SCRIPTURES

And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town. Matt 10:14

What can we say to these things? If God is for us , who can be against us? Romans 8:31

Cast all your anxieties on him because he cares for you.1 Peter 5:7

But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Matt 5:44

Persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down but not destroyed. 2 Cor 4:9

When he was reviled he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. 1 Pet 2:23

If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. John 15:18

When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles, The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the lord delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:17-20

So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me? Heb 13:6

The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me. Luke 10:16

For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but theLORD will take me in. Ps. 27:10

Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Isaiah 49:15

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

Jesus was rejected: He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. John 1:11

Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:4-6

Rejection for your faith: Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! Luke 6:22

See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. Matt 18:10

But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Matt 5:44
