Forgiveness does not mean forgetting, nor does it mean condoning or excusing offenses that have happened to or around you. Forgiveness is not even about the other person, it is about you. For me, forgiveness is like cutting a rope that is holding us back in the past. Cut the rope and propel yourself into a brighter future.
