Today we were talking about rhoticity in accents. The rule is “See an ‘r’, say an ‘r’”, some accents say all the ‘r’s that are written in words, but others only say them in key places or at the beginning of words. Is your accent rhotic?
Remember…there’s NO SUCH THING AS A RHOTIC R! It’s the accent (or language) that is rhotic.
