TJ Perenara’s stance on the the occupational protest of Ihumātao during an All Blacks game, bore the classic stance of ‘All Blacks should focus on rugby,’ with some people claiming it would impact his performance. The occupational protest was on the mind of many New Zealanders, and in a country where athletes ~normally~ don’t discuss social issues, it truly was a rare sight.
