Before David ever became king of Israel, he was a shepherd boy with a heart after God’s own heart. His purpose wasn’t just to defeat Goliath but to prepare the way for the King of kings through his lineage. And David didn’t walk that purpose alone—he had Jonathan, Samuel, and the mighty men of God to stand with him.

 Ephesians 2:10 reminds us:

“We are God’s masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
