Dr. Miramontes is currently a resident at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX. She was born and raised in Indiana where she later received her bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame.  She received her M.D. & Master's in Public Health at the University of Miami. Her parents are from Jalisco, Mexico. Dr. Miramontes discusses the importance of mentorship, the value of continuously learning, and being comfortable with being uncomfortable.
