Major life changes—like a divorce or ending of a serious relationship—aren’t even close to simple. They’re multifaceted and there isn’t only one definition, one experience, or one truth to the situation. It’s a tightly woven tapestry of emotion, experience, and perspective. And my divorce was no different.

Today, I’m sharing what began to unravel after my then-husband asked for a divorce, as I had to learn to process and navigate this information while keeping it a secret from everyone else for a few painful weeks. Join me as I share my experience of figuring out how to navigate the divorce with alignment while simultaneously holding space for what was true for me, what was true for him, and what was true for our daughters.
