There is something powerful in being known by another person.  At our core the deepest desire we have is to be seen and known by someone.  As I've read through the gospels I'm amazed at how Jesus was so intentional about knowing people and there is an element in each interaction He had where Jesus showed He knew them personally.    

We see that demonstrated in Jesus' interaction with the woman at the well.  When we are known it unlocks powerful things within us.  We'll see what the rivers of living water that Jesus offered the woman at the well means for us and exactly what that represents.    Scripture is loaded with the images and language of water.  Water often speaks about being a source of life that brings growth and life.  We need water in order to survive and without it our bodies shut down.  When Jesus tells us that He is the Living Water we should be very intrigued and notice that this is very significant for us and our spiritual life.
