Today's episode aims to share a couple of thoughts and strategies around self-regulation and co-regulation for teachers and administrators. All behavior is communication and, often, behavior that appears more "challenging" or "unexpected" is trying to communicate some kind of emotion, feeling, or need that has not been met. I share a couple of strategies and a book connection you can use when bringing emotional wellness into your classrooms especially as we get closer to warmer weather and the excitement of Spring and Summer buzzes in our buildings.
