On April 12, 2019, students were given the opportunity to volunteer at over 33 various community organizations, Amherst County Parks and Recreation sites,  and at ACPS schools.  This "Day of Giving - Reflections" episode was created by students and faculty who traveled to various locations throughout the day to interviews individuals as to their location of service. Three basic questions were asked, 1) Have you been involved in volunteering work in the past? If so, how did the Day of Giving compare? If not, describe your experience? 2) Did this experience change the way you thought about community service? 3) What advice would you give people who may be considering volunteer work in the future? Hear what they learned and how volunteering can have a positive impact on others.
