Martin Hanlin is Scottish musician, radio DJ, music manager, and film producer who has worked in all sides of the music industry since the early 1980s. A native of Glasgow, he is the former drummer and founding member of the band The Silencers, who toured as opening act for U2, David Bowie, Simple Minds, Squeeze, The Alarm, The Pretenders, and Warren Zevon. Martin is a frequent collaborator with his childhood friend, Simple Minds' lead singer, Jim Kerr. He lives, works, and creates in Southern California.
