Mike Benson joins me from New Jersey to discuss his time growing up on recreational vessels and what led him to a career on the water. He chats about his current roles in and around New York Harbor as a Boom Boat Pilot and as the Assistant Captain at Rutgers University, and we make a few pit stops to touch on salmon fishing in Alaska and sailing the ICW.
