While this massification is generally viewed positively, the document highlights a number of points to watch out for: the increase in contract termination rates, particularly in higher education, calls into question the quality of support and the match between training and company needs. What's more, the quest for profitability by OFAs, faced with increasing costs, could lead to abuses such as skimming of apprentices or a deterioration in apprenticeship conditions. It is therefore crucial to monitor the evolution of the system to guarantee the quality of apprenticeships and their role in reducing social inequalities.
