A fire at the docks puts the Unseen Rebellion at risk, leaving Ryan, Elly and Penny with the difficult task for saving their allies without being caught doing so. With the stakes raised, Lien Farwind decides now is the time to act-- and kill the Empress. Ryan, Penny and Elly deal with the potential repercussions of such an act, and decide who (and how) they will try to save those in the castle they love.

Darkness and Dragons is a D&D actual play livestream for mature audiences, with an emotionally deep narrative and character-driven plot, featuring:
Ryan/Verity, a rogue former-princess turned consort to Crown Prince Atlas, and wants nothing more than to survive. But as she grows closer to Atlas' brother, Arsen, her life becomes more dangerous than ever. Ryan is played by Laura (she/her) @darkmoondice
Elly Pilwicken, a barbarian who watched her people murdered by Empress Penelope and was soon after, captured. With her introduction to The Unseen Resistance, she might finally have found the allies she has long sought. Elly is played by Sarah (she/her) @theoddscollector
Penny Lillyanne Van-Ness Planchette, a necromancer who took a job with her older sister at Caquette Castle to pay down her student loans, but is haunted by the acts that got her expelled. Penny is played by Michael (he/him) @notesreviews
