I battle with this everyday, and today I was encouraged during what could have been a difficult conversation with my son.  The result was a true teachable moment for both of us, so I am sharing with all of you.  I have learned not to be surprised by these little moments anymore, but I am still so humbled by how amazingly insightful a child's heart is if we just take the time to listen.
