Stephanie Boegle is a master of social work (MSW) candidate currently studying at Adelphi University located on Long Island, NY. Her studies at Adelphi are the culmination of seven years within higher education. Needless to say, her path to her master's was not the straight and narrow. 

Stephanie is my cousin, and I've watched in awe at her determination and fortitude in the face of many obstacles and uncertainty along this path. She has attended four different schools, obtained three other degrees, and experienced both an academic probation and medical leave along the way.

In this episode we detail every part of Stephanie's journey, discuss why pursuing her education was so important, and touch upon the challenges those in social work and substance abuse work face. This is a must listen for any student, especially those going towards their MSW!
