Originally from Brazil, Luciana is currently working in Germany teaching English and Portuguese. Working with multi-cultural classrooms, sparked her interest in including cultural elements in her teaching. She goes below the surface of the ‘cultural iceberg’ to discuss worldviews and values. She also includes tips, such as telling our personal stories to share our cultures. She encourages teachers to learn from the cultures of their students, as part of language teaching.
