In this episode of Growth and Green Tea, Andrea was joined by Stephanie Koontz to share her journey of fighting the demons she battled. From facing difficult battles of comparison, addiction, and torture, to surrendering it all to the Lord and finding strength. Stephanie shares how she has used her battles for the glory of the Lord and encourage others. This is the raw and uncut story of Stephanie Koontz.
About Stephanie:
Stephanie is a wife and mother of three wild boys. At the age of 39, she realized that she truly is absolutely nothing without Jesus Christ. She was stuck in the torments of Hell, chained to two different addictions, bulimia and alcohol. She was rebellious, promiscuous, and believed the vicious lie of the enemy for over fifteen years of her life. June 11th, 2014 she made the choice to surrender her life to Jesus, and finally understood what a relationship with Him should look like. Now, her and her family live on a small family farm and run a non-profit called Divine Intervention Specialists. Her and her husband have both experienced the depths of addiction, and want to minister to others to show them that HOPE is alive, FREEDOM is possible, and JESUS is the Way. They help families and loved ones understand addiction and offer intervention services with a realistic treatment plan. They walk beside them as they navigate the same darkness they lived in for far too long. Stephanie says, "Today, my life isn't perfect, but I wouldn't trade it for the world! Like the story of Mary Magdalene, the enemy tries to pull us away and sometimes temptations creep in, but by His grace, we are forgiven! His mercies are new each and every morning. God bless you!
