This week our woman of impact is Loujain Al-hathloul, Saudi women's rights activist currently jailed for protesting a ban on women driving inside Saudi Arabia. Loujain is known for defying the ban by driving a car inside Saudi Arabia and being arrested. Currently, Loujain is facing a major prison sentence for her activism even though the driving ban has been lifted.
