We are on the heels of Black History Month and also in the midst of Women’s History Month; what better way to celebrate than with my favorite people- the generations of women within my family! We are exploring female relationships within the family structure- mother/daughter, sister/sister, aunt/niece, etc. - and its effects on black female relations outside of the family. We are also discussing the importance of empowerment, encouragement and sisterhood within the Black family dynamic. We are laughing, loving and living and this conversation with my girlfriends is one of my best yet! I hope it inspires you to celebrate the queens in your life!
