CW: Brief mention of death due to COVID-19

Didn't you hear? The pandemic is over! Masks off! CELEBRATE! Well, except for the fact that there's once again a new variant taking over...that's even more infectious than omicron. And the fact that there's still huge swaths of the population at risk due to being immunocompromised or ineligible for the vaccine. And the fact that the pandemic isn't ACTUALLY over globally, which is partly why we keep getting these variants in the first place! Why are people so willing to decide they're done with something that is very much here and very much still dangerous and unknown? (even if "mild?") Oh, they just don't care? ...right.

Join an exasperated Host #1 along with the wonderful, but just as exasperated, OG Host #3 as they discuss how wild it is that we continue to find ourselves in the same old BS cycle of variants and surges and forcing people to take on unnecessary risks, all because people are simply "over it" and cannot be arsed to care anymore.
