This week the Bros are going to Guatemala! Or more specifically, a friend of the podcast brings back a piece of Guatemala for the Bros! We're drinking Gallo this week, the most popular beer from that Central American country, and one of only two Western Hemisphere beers to win one of the world's most prestigious prizes. Alongside this wonderful ale, we're reading Jose Marti, one of Cuba's most famous poets. While Cuba may be his homeland, we'll learn how Marti also became one of Guatemala's most famous poet, and the tragic story behind one of his greatest poems "The Girl of Guatemala."
