In this episode:
I concentrate on manchester United and their poor performance against Crystal Palace at the weekend which saw the team have their worst start to a league campaign since 1990. I discuss the current situation around Jose Mourinho as manager and the root and branch changes needed if we are to improve not only in the short term but more importantly into the future. I also preview the Champions League contest v Young Boys at Old Trafford that I will be watching tonight.
Finally, in this episode I touch on the fact that the Irish Rugby management set up has started preparations in earnest for the Rugby World Cup 2019 with a policy of looking towards the more robust player to bolster squad positions as the last time round it was felt that some injuries to key players in early group games against 'weaker opposition' led to the loss of key skilled players for the latter stages.
