One of the many criticisms of religion is that it tends to attract people that are simply looking to escape. Chase and Tyler are wondering if that applies to their own religious beliefs. So is Christianity just escapism? What is the appeal of religion in general? Are all of us trying to escape the reality of our lives? Is escaping even a bad thing? Is religion just a glorified coping mechanism?
