In this episode, Pastor Rhonda and Pastor Seth discuss the lectionary passages for this week. These are some heavy hitting passages and they are not easy to work through and live. But it is important that we journey through them and what Jesus is essentially trying to say. All of the passages point to choice. We have a choice. We can choice to follow Jesus and His way, or we can go our own way. There is no half way in on the cross though. The cross leads to life though, and is the better choice, but it does mean that we are willing to follow Jesus no matter what. Do we love our relationships more than Jesus? Do we love our possessions more than Jesus? The call of Jesus tells us this is not possible and that we must love Him more than these things, but the choice is ours.
