In today's episode we cover the Flap of 1973.  A UFO flap is simply a short way to refer to mass sightings and 1973 was a year completely full of mass UFO sightings.  They occurred across the United States, but it wasn't an American phenomenon.  Many other countries across the world also experienced several UFO sightings including the UK, Australia, Canada and others.  This entire year was considered a "flap" by UFO researchers and in this episode of Petrafaction, we go over a sighting that occurred and shared by a listener as well as go over the better known case of the Pascagoula Abduction case involving Parker and Hickson of Mississippi.
